Cookie Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Short version: we do not use advertising cookies. Analytics only run if you say yes. Everything else we store is what the site needs to work.
What we store and why
- Login session. When you sign in, we keep a session in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in between pages and visits. It contains your session tokens, nothing more.
- Authentication cookies. Our login provider, Supabase, may set functional cookies that support signing in and signing out.
- Your choices. Small local entries that remember your cookie choice, your riddle answers, your believe votes, and your scare ratings. These never leave your browser.
- Analytics, only with your permission. If you click Accept on our cookie banner, we load Google Analytics to count visits and see which posts are popular. Google Analytics sets cookies for this. If you click Decline, it never loads. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
What we do not use
- No advertising cookies.
- No analytics without your permission.
- No selling of any data, ever.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of CreepyZoo and reset your cookie choice, so the banner will ask you again.
Changes
If we ever add tools that use cookies in a new way, we will update this page first. Questions? Use the contact page.
